HomeMy WebLinkAbout15181 ORD - 10/17/1979vp:10/17/79:1st', AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1990 TRANSPORTATION PLAN, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO.) 2704, PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON JULY 16, 1975, AS AMENDED, SO AS TO REFLECT THE REDESIGNATION OF AIRLINE ROAD AS SHOWN IN EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the 1990 Transportation Plan, adopted by the City Council by Ordinance No. 12704 on July 16, 1975, be and the same is hereby amended so as to reflect the redesignation of Airline Road as shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. SECTION 2. The necessity to amend the 1990 Transportation Plan as hereinabove outlined creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such emergency and necessity exist, having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the ATTEST: E /C,GQ.�(/ City'Secretary \ MAYOR TH CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS /7 APPROVED: (7 DAY OF OCTOBER, 1979: J.
