Special Council Meeting
November 15, 2006 9:15 a.m.

`.'tayor Garret called the special meeting to order in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
Secretary Chapa called the roll and verified that the necessary quorum of the Council
a d the required chartereo officers were 'present to conduct the meeting.
Mayor Garrett opened discussion to Item C, canvassing the returns and declaring the results
of the Special Election held on November 7, 2006 in the City of Corpus Christi to consider Two (2)
Charter Amendments Mr Chapa 'polled the Council for their votes as follows:

Jrlinance canvassing returns and declaring results of the Special Election held on
November 7 2006 ;n the City of Corpus Christi to consider Two (2) Charter Amendment.
An emergency was declared, and the foregoing ordinance was passed and approved with
the following vote: Garrett, Garcia, Kelly, Kinnison, Marez, Noyola, and Scott, voting "Aye";
hesney and Cooper were absent.
Mayor Garrett called for public comment. Mr. Bill Kopecky, 3609 Topeka, commented on the
petition process for referendum and charter amendments.
_here being no further business to come before the Council, Mayor Garrett adjourned the
