HomeMy WebLinkAbout020877 ORD - 02/20/1990AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A 50 FOOT PORTION OF NORTH SHORELINE BOULEVARD SOUTH OF PEARL STREET ADJACENT TO LOT 11, BLOCK 4, AND LOT 12, BLOCK F, BROOKLYN ADDITION, SHOWN BY PLAT IN VOLUME A, PAGES 30-32, MAP RECORDS, NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, SUBJECT TO REPLATTING THE PROPERTY WITHIN 180 DAYS. WHEREAS, notice of the time and place for holding a hearing concerning the closing and abandoning of a 50 foot portion of North Shoreline Boulevard south of Pearl Street adjacent to Lot 11, Block 4, and Lot 12, Block F, Brooklyn Addition, shown by plat in Volume A, Pages 30-32, Map Records, Nueces County, Texas, subject to replatting the property within 180 days, was given by publication and mailed to the last known addresses of the owners of property abutting the public way and within 450 feet of the area proposed to be closed, and thereafter, pursuant to said notice, public hearing was held at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi on February 6, 1990, in accordance with the provisions of the City Charter; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council after such hearing that the aforesaid portions of rights-of-way, proposed to be closed, are not needed now, nor will they be within the foreseeable future needed as public rights-of-way, and that the same should revert to the abutting property owners, subject to certain specified conditions: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI: SECTION 1: That there is hereby closed and abandoned a 50 foot portion of North Shoreline Boulevard south of Pearl Street adjacent to Lot 11, Block 4, and Lot 12, Block F, Brooklyn Addition, subject to the applicant replatting said property within 180 days of passage of this ordinance. /ORD/89082.rr MICROFILMED .2I i J V O BRID1C160RT AVE L YfF f1 Th BRIDGEPORT AVE cor ,.4 0 J 1 , 9, Jr 0 onft c' 1 / RCAKWATCR AVE.
