HomeMy WebLinkAbout020885 ORD - 03/06/1990AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 20731 WHICH ADOPTED AND APPROVED THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI FOR THE 1989-90 FISCAL YEAR TO REFLECT AN INCREASE TO GENERAL FUND, SOLID WASTE SERVICES REVENUES, OF $514,500, AND AN INCREASE TO GENERAL FUND, SOLID WASTE SERVICES APPROPRIATIONS, OF $514,500; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance 20731 which adopted and approved the budget for the City of Corpus Christi for the 1989-90 fiscal year is hereby amended to reflect an increase to General Fund, Solid Waste Services Revenues, of $514,500, and an increase to General Fund, Solid Waste Services Appropriations, of $514,500. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the . %, day of /1\ ,(" �_ „� , 19 `/ _ .
