ADOPTING A POLICY OF TFTE CITY COUNCIL IN SUPPORT OF
THE PROPOSED STATE PROPERTY TAX BOARD RULE 161.201 TO
RE CONSIDERED ON MAY 21, 1990 BY THE STATE PROPERTY
SAX BOARD.
WHEREAS, the. City Council of the City of Corpus Christi supports
economic development, both locally and on a state-wide basis, and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the benefits of the Freeport
exemption but also recognizes the necessity of specific limits to such
Freeport exemption,
[3E IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Corpus
Christi_:
Soc. The Cf.. Council sl:pecifical.l.y supports the proposed
mate Property Tax Board's Rule 161.201 "Definition of Petroleum
Products" which specifies products which constitute an "immediate
c'.eri.vati_ve" of refining.
Sec . The City Council directs teat a copy of this resolution
