CLOSING AND ABANDONING THE SECTION OF CIMMARON BLVD. FROM
THE MISTY MEADOWS INTERSECTION NORTHWARD FOR 680 FEET AND
THE SECTION OF MISTY MEADOWS, APPROXIMATELY 300 FEET WEST OF
THE CIMMARON/MISTY MEADOWS INTERSECTION; SUBJECT TO THE
PROVISIONS LISTED BELOW.
WHEREAS, notice of the time and place for holding a hearing
concerning the closing of Cimmaron Blvd. from the Misty Meadows
intersection northward for 680 feet and the section of Misty Meadows,
approximately 300 feet west of the Cimmaron/Misty Meadows
intersection, was given by publication and mailed to the last known
addresses of the owners of property abutting the public way and within
450 feet of the area proposed to be closed, and thereafter, pursuant
to said notice, public hearing was held at a meeting of the City
Council of the City of Corpus Christi on February 20, 1990, in
accordance with the provisions of the City Charter; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council after such
hearing that the aforesaid portions of rights-of-way, proposed to be
closed, are not needed now, nor will they be within the foreseeable
future needed as public rights-of-way, and that the same should revert
to the abutting property owners, subject to certain specified
conditions:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI:
SECTION 1: That there is hereby closed and abandoned the
section of Cimmaron Blvd., from the Misty Meadows intersection
northward for 680 feet and the section of Misty Meadows, approximately
300 feet west of the Cimmaron/Misty Meadows intersection, as described
in Parcels 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 in the attached Exhibit A, subject to the
applicant replatting said property within 180 days of passage of this
ordinance.

way known as Cimarron Boulevard dedicated to the City of Corpus Christi

the remaining 10.00 foot strip out of a 20.00 foot wide strip which was

Pages 41 thru 43 of said Map Records;
BEGINNING at the Southwest boundary of the City of Corpus Christi
95.00 foot wide drainage right-of-way marking the East corner of said
Lot 5, Block 8, Wooldridge Creek Unit 6, for the North corner of
Cimarron Boulevard and the North corner of this description:
THENCE South 61 00'40" East, along the Southwest line of said
drainage right-of-way, with the Northeast line of Cimarron Boulevard,
12.69 feet to its intersection point with the West boundary of Airline
Road, said point being a distance of 42.01 feet at a bearing of North
87 32'15" West from the centerline of Airline Road, for the upper East
corner of this tract;
THENCE South 06 02'20" West, along the West boundary line of
Airline Road, 69.99 feet for the lower East corner of this description;
THENCE, leaving Airline Road, South 29 00'00" West, along the
Southeast line of the 10.00 foot wide strip as shown and dedicated in
said Volume A, Pages 41 thru 43, same being the Southeast boundary of
Section 12, a distance of 525.53 feet to the existing Northeast
boundary of Misty Meadow Road,
THENCE North 61 00'00" West, along said boundary line of Misty
Meadow Road, 50.00 feet to the beginning of a circular curve to the
right whose radius point bears North 29 00'00" East 10.00 feet and has
a central angle of 90 00'00", a radius of 10.00 feet, a tangent
distance of 10.00 feet and an arc length of 15.71 feet;
THENCE with said curve to the right, 15.71 feet the point of
tangency and the upper South end of said Lot 5, Block 8;

BEGINNING at a point on the Northeast boundary line of Misty

corner of this tract;
