HomeMy WebLinkAbout020936 ORD - 06/26/1990AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 20777 BY AMENDING SECTION 3 IN ORDER TO ADOPT THE FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON THE FOLLOWING STREET: Gardendale Area, Phase II Curtis Clark Drive, from Everhart Road to South Staples Street AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 20777, passed and approved September 19, 1989, be amended by amending Section 3 so as to adopt the final assessment roll and assessments levied against owners of abutting property on the following street: Gardendale Area, Phase II Curtis Clark Drive, From Everhart Road to South Staples Street a substantial copy of which assessment role is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit A. SECTION 2. This street shall be constructed by excavation to a width and depth to permit the laying of a 6” standard curb and gutter section, 6" compacted lime sta- bilized subgrade, 8" compacted caliche base and 1i>" Type "D" Hot Mix asphaltic pavement. The street will be 28 feet in width constructed within the existing 60 foot wide right-of-way. There will be 4' or 5' wide reinforced concrete sidewalks, 4" thick and 6" thick reinforced concrete driveways constructed as shown on the plans. The assessment rates have been calculated in accordance with the City's current paving policy.
