AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN ASSIGNMENT OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH CENTRIZ OF NORTH AMERICA, INC. FOR OPERATION
OF A RENT -A -CAR FACILITY AT CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute an Assignment of Lease Agreement with Centriz of North
America, Inc. for operation of a rent -a -car facility at Corpus Christi
International Airport, all as more fully set forth in the Assignment
of Lease Agreement, a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, marked Exhibit A.
SECTION 2. Publication shall be made in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi as required by the City
Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.

ASSIGNMENT OF LEASE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 20387, passed and approved by
City Council on July 19, 1988, the City approved, subject to
certain conditions, a Lease Agreement to Loma Enterprises,
Inc. dba Dollar Rent-A-Car ("Lease"); and
WHEREAS, Loma Enterprises, Inc. dba Dollar Rent-A-Car
seeks written authority from the City to assign the Lease to
Centriz of North America, Inc. ("Centriz"); and
WHEREAS, the City desires to consent to the assignment
of the Lease to Centriz.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:
I.
That all terms and conditions of the Dollar Rent-A-Car
Concession Agreement dated July 19, 1988, be and remain in
force and effect, except City recognizes that the automotive
service facility required to be constructed in Article VIII
has been constructed. A copy of the Dollar Rent-A-Car
Concession Agreement is attached hereto and made a part
hereof for all purposes as Exhibit A. This assignment shall
be effective sixty (60) days after third reading approval.
