BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby approved Amendment No. 4 to the Engineering Services Contract with Smith & Russo to design improvements to Ayers Street, from Baldwin Boulevard to Santa Fe Street, for a fee not to exceed $17,987, all as more fully set forth in Amendment No. 4, a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit A. SECTION 2. Section II, Scope of Services, Subsection B (Design Phase), shall be amended to revise project plans, specifications, contract and bidding documents as necessary to bid and construct that portion of Ayers Street between Santa Fe and Baldwin Boulevard, as outlined in the attached Task Listing. Section III, Fees, shall be amended to provide additional compensation to the Engineer in an amount not to exceed $17,897.00 for added services as herein defined. Payment will be made monthly based upon submitted invoices and the rate schedule attached. All other terms and conditions of the contract approved on May 12, 1987, and amended on December 17, 1987, July 28, 1989, and July 30, 1990, between the City and Engineer not specifically addressed herein, shall remain in full force and effect.
