AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH BAY, INC. TO
CONSTRUCT A NEW 20 -INCH WATERLINE IN PARK ROAD 22;
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $258,000 FROM THE NO. 144-271.08
PADRE ISLAND WATER SYSTEM ESCROW FUND TO THE NO. 205
WATER BOND FUND AND APPROPRIATING THIS AMOUNT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract
with Bay, Inc. to construct a new 20 -inch waterline in Park Road 22, all as more fully set forth
in the plans and specifications and contract documents on file in the office of the City Secretary,
all of which are made a part hereof by reference and according to the bid of Bay, Inc., said bid
being the lowest and most advantageous to the City of Corpus Christi.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby authorized the transfer of $258,000 from the
No. 144-271.08 Padre Island Water System Escrow Fund to the No. 205 Water Bond Fund and
appropriating this amount of which $219,615 is for the contract award and $38,385 is for
construction contingencies, engineering, testing, and incidental and related expenses applicable
to Project No. 205-601-600.49, Park Road 22 and 53 Waterline Improvements.
