AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE A 10 -YEAR
LEASE WITH A 10 -YEAR OPTION TO RENEW WITH CORPUS CHRISTI
INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT (CCISD) TO PROVIDE GIRL'S FAST PITCH
SOFTBALL AT JAYCEE FIELD (S STAPLES AND KOSTORYZ) IN CONSIDERATION
OF CCISD MAINTAINING AND IMPROVING JAYCEE FIELD; AND PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is hereby authorized to execute a 10
year lease, with a 10 -year option to renew, with Corpus Christi Independent School District (CCISD)
to provide girl's fast pitch softball at Jaycee Field (S. Staples and Kostoryz) in consideration of
CCISD maintaining and improving Jaycee Field. A copy of the lease is on file with the City
Secretary.
SECTION 2. Publication will be made in the official publication of the City of Corpus
Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
