HomeMy WebLinkAbout022827 ORD - 01/21/1997ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $146,400 IN THE PARK CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND NO. 291 AS THE STATE OF TEXAS' ESTIMATED REIMBURSEMENT TO THE CITY FOR 80% OF ELIGIBLE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH DEVELOPMENT OF PLANS/SPECIFICATIONS AND FORCE ACCOUNT CONSTRUCTION WORK ON THE BAY TRAIL PHASE II PROJECT; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 022742, WHICH ADOPTED THE FY 96-97 CAPITAL BUDGET, BY ADDING $146,400; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. $146,400 is appropriated in the Park Capital Projects Fund No. 291 as the State of Texas' estimated reimbursement to the City for 80% of eligible costs associated with development of plans/specifications and force account construction work on the Bay Trail Phase II Project. SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 022742, which adopted the FY 96-97 Capital Budget, is amended by adding $146,400. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of city affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that Atii ordinanc is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this th day of , 1997.
