HomeMy WebLinkAbout022850 ORD - 02/18/1997ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $354,784 FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED FUND BALANCE IN THE NO. 246 AIRPORT PASSENGER FACILITY CHARGE FUND (PFC) FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED UNDER AMENDMENT 9 TO THE CONTRACT WITH WILSON KULLMAN McCORD, INC. FOR THE CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TERMINAL BUILDING RECONSTRUCTION IMPROVEMENTS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY The city council has approved amendment 9 to the contract with Wilson Kullman McCord, Inc. for the Corpus Christi International Airport Terminal Building reconstruction improvements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. There is appropriated $354,784 from the unappropriated fund balance in the No. 246 Airport Passenger Facility Charge Fund (PFC) for architectural services to be provided under amendment 9 to the contract with Wilson Kullman McCord, Inc. for the Corpus Christi International Airport Terminal Building reconstruction improvements. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of city affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that t is ordinan is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the / day of 1997.
