AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE A 10 -YEAR
LEASE WITH NATIONAL LITTLE LEAGUE FOR 4.349 ACRES AT SOUTH GUTH
PARK FOR A YOUTH PROGRAM IN CONSIDERATION OF THE LEAGUE
MAINTAINING THE FACILITY AND PREMISES; AND PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute a 10 year
lease, with National Little League for 4.349 acres at South Guth Park for a youth program in
consideration of National Little League maintaining the Facility Premises, including without
limitation, maintaining the irrigation system and parking areas, picking up litter, mowing, and
repairing the bleachers.
SECTION 2. Publication will be made in the official publication of the City of Corpus
Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.

National Little League
Summary
1. Ten-year Use Privilege Agreement of baseball fields at South Guth by the National
Little League.
2. In consideration for Use Privilege Agreement, National Little League will maintain
the premises and all improvements and will mow all assigned grassy areas.
3. The League will pick up litter, irrigate baseball fields and repair bleachers when
needed. Bleachers shall be repaired within 48 hours after the need for repair has
been discovered.
4. The premises will be used primarily for the operation of a youth program. Written
consent must be obtained before promises are used for other purposes.
5. The League will pay for all utilities.
6. All improvements which are not removed at expiration of contract become property
of the City.
7. The public may use premises when premises are not being used for youth programs
by League.
8. Use Agreement includes a reconstruction clause, under which User agrees to
vacate the Premises with 60 days notice if City reconstructs major improvements
at the Premises.

METES AND BOUNDS
LEASE
Being a 4.349 acre tract of land out of Lot 6, 7, 20, and 21, Section 17, Flour Bluff and
Encinal Farm and Garden Tracts as shown by map of record in Volume A, pages 41, 42,
and 43, map records, Nueces County, Texas, said 4.349 acre tract being more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
Being at a 1" iron pipe in the most southerly corner of the National Little League Lease
Tract; thence S 60 degrees 45', 10" E., a distance of 700.0 feet to a point, the most
westerly and beginning corner of the tract herein described;
THENCE N. 33 degrees 18', E., a distance of 445.75 feet to a point;
Thence N. 76 degrees 36', 40" E., a distance of 66.21 feet to a point in the southwest
right-of-way line of Ennis Joslin Road; for the most northerly corner of this tract;
Thence in a southeasterly direction with the southwest right-of-way of said Ennis Joslin
Road and with the arc of a curve to the left whose central angle is 3 degrees 46', 50", and
whose radius is 5769.58 feet, an arc distance of 380.70 feet to a point, the P.T. of said
curve for a corner of this tract;
Thence S. 28 degrees, 01', 30" E., still with the southwest right -of way line of said Ennis
Joslin Road, a distance of 261.25 feet to a point for the most easterly corner of this tract;
Thence S. 51 degrees, 15' , 20" W., a distance of 142.38 feet to a point for the most
southerly corner of this tract;
Thence N. 60 degrees 45', 10" W., a distance of 560.00 feet to the point of beginning.
