APPROPRIATING $223,615 FROM THE NO. 117 AIRPORT FUND
CAPITAL RESERVE; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 022643, WHICH
ADOPTED THE FY 96-97 OPERATING BUDGET, BY ADDING $223,615 TO
THE NO.117 AIRPORT FUND; TRANSFERRING $223,615 TO AND
APPROPRIATING THIS AMOUNT IN THE NO. 245 AIRPORT CAPITAL
PROJECTS FUND FOR VARIOUS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
AT CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT; AMENDING THE FY
96-97 CAPITAL BUDGET, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 022742, TO
ADD $223,615 TO THE AIRPORT PROGRAM; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $223,615 from the Airport Fund Capital Reserve is appropriated in the
No. 117 Airport Fund.
SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 022643 which adopted the FY 96-97 Operating Budget
is hereby amended by adding $223,615 to the No. 117 Airport Fund.
SECTION 3. That $223,615 is transferred to and appropriated in the No. 245 Airport
Capital Improvement Fund for improvements at the Corpus Christi International Airport.
SECTION 4. That the FY 96-97 Capital Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 022742 is
hereby amended by adding $223,615 to the Airport Program.
SECTION 5. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy
attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the
efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and
declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at
two regular meetings so that this ordinance i passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an
emergency measure this thevVii1 day of LIMA 1997.

requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two
regular meetings: I/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule and pass this ordinance
finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
