AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE A 10 -YEAR LEASE WITH A 10 -YEAR OPTION TO RENEW
WITH CORPUS CHRISTI INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT (CCISD)
TO INSTALL, REPAIR, MAINTAIN AND OPERATE A ROPES TEAM
BUILDING COURSE LOCATED ON APPROXIMATELY .78 ACRES OF
THE 5.08 ACRE CASA LINDA PARK ADJACENT TO BAKER MIDDLE
SCHOOL; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is hereby authorized to execute a 10
year Lease, with a 10 -year option to renew, and extending from month to month, upon the same
terms and conditions, until a new lease is executed, but not to exceed 12 additional months with
Corpus Christi Independent School District (CCISD) to install, repair, maintain and operate a Ropes
Team Building Course located on approximately .78 acres of the 5.08 acre Casa Linda Park in
consideration of CCISD installing, repairing, maintaining and operating the Ropes Course and
providing access to the City upon the City Manager's written request; a copy of the Lease is on file
with the City Secretary.
SECTION 2. Publication will be made in the official publication of the City of Corpus
Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
