AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE A
LEASE FOR A PERIOD NOT TO EXCEED 60 YEARS ON LOT 1R,
LEXINGTON INDUSTRIAL CENTER AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 50,
PAGE 71, NUECES COUNTY MAP RECORDS,TO THE FLOUR BLUFF
BUSINESS ASSOCIATION TO INSTALL LANDSCAPING AND WELCOME
TO FLOUR BLUFF SIGN, IN CONSIDERATION OF THE FLOUR BLUFF
BUSINESS ASSOCIATION INSTALLING AND MAINTAINING THE SIGN
AND LANDSCAPING AND HOLDING THE CITY HARMLESS FROM ALL
COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SIGN AND LANDSCAPING;
PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute a lease not
to exceed 60 years on Lot 1R, Lexington Industrial Center as recorded in Volume 50, Page 71,
Nueces County Map Records, to the Flour Bluff Business Association to install landscaping and
welcome to Flour Bluff Sign on behalf of the City.
SECTION2. That the consideration is the Flour Bluff Business Association installing and
maintaining the sign and landscaping and holding the City harmless from all costs associated with
the sign and landscaping.
SECTION 3. Publication shall be made in the official publication of the City of Corpus
Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
