APPROVAL OF ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 8127, SECTION 510, AS AMENDED, TO REFLECT HOUSEKEEPING REVISIONS TO THE MANAGERIAL GROUP PAY PLAN FOR FY 97-98, AND ADJUSTMENTS OF SALARY RANGE MAXIMUMS OF CERTAIN MANAGERIAL CLASSIFICATIONS AS REFLECTED IN EXHIBIT B. APPROVAL OF ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 8127, AS AMENDED, SECTION 501, TO PROVIDE FOR EQUITABLE ADJUSTMENTS TO THE MAXIMUM OF THE SALARY RANGE IN SALARY SCHEDULE A FOR GRADES 8 THROUGH 12 AS REFLECTED IN EXHIBIT C. PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION L That Ordinance 3658, as amended, Section 250, Classification Plan for All Positions in the Classified Service Subsections 251 through 257 be amended by amending Sections 251, 252, 253, 254, 255, 256, and 257 to read as shown in Exhibit A. SECTION 2. That Ordinance 8127, as amended, Section 510, Managerial Group Pay Plan for FY 1996-97, be amended by adopting the revised Managerial Group Pay Plan 1997-98, attached hereto as Exhibit B, which includes housekeeping revisions and certain equitable adjustments to the salary range maximums in the Managerial Group Pay Plan for FY 97-98 as reflected in Exhibit B. SECTION 3. That Ordinance 8127, as amended, Section 501, ,Salary Schedules, be amended by replacing Salary Schedules A and B effective November 25, 1996, with revised Salary Schedules A and B effective August 4, 1997, as reflected in Exhibit C. SECTION 4. If, for any reason, any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision of this Ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by final judgement of a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision of this Ordinance, for it is the definite intent of this City Council that every section,
