EXPRESSING THE INTENT TO REIMBURSE THE COMBINED UTILITY
SYSTEMS FUND FOR COSTS OF CERTAIN WATER SYSTEM
IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE AS PART OF THE DEL MAR AREA
STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT --PHASE III
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
To ensure that water system improvements being made as part of the Del Mar Area Street
Improvements Project --Phase III are adequate, it is necessary to replace and upgrade water service
connections and private water service lines. Interim funding for these improvements will come from
the FY 97-98 Combined Utility Systems Fund.
In turn, it is intended that the Combined Utility Systems Fund will be reimbursed for the
costs of these improvements from either revenue bond sale proceeds or as part of the proposed Tax -
Exempt Commercial Paper Program.
