APPROPRIATING $1,197,994 IN THE NO. 111 TRUST FUND; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
022993 WHICH ADOPTED THE FY 1997-98 BUDGET BY ADDING $1,197,994 TO THE TOTAL
APPROPRIATIONS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas:
SECTION 1. That $1,197,994 is appropriated from the Trust Fund budget as

SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 022993 which adopted the FY 1997-98
Budget is amended by addition $1,197,994 to the total appropriation.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the mayor or five Council
Members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate
action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding
of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to
consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance
is passe and sh II take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the
day of ' 1997.

requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two

finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
