APPROPRIATING $1,508 FROM VARIOUS CORPORATE
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE CLEAN CITIES PROGRAM TRUST NO. 106;
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 022993, WHICH ADOPTED THE FY1997-98
BUDGET, BY ADDING $1,508 TO THE COMBINED UTILITY SYSTEMS
FUND; TRANSFERRING $1,508 TO AND APPROPRIATING $1,508 IN THE
NO. 162 FEDERAL/STATE GRANTS FUND FOR THE CLEAN CITIES
PROJECT - ALTERNATIVE FUELS MARKET DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAM; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $1,508 is hereby appropriated from various corporate contributions to
the Clean Cities Program Trust No. 106.
SECTION 2. That Ordinance no. 022993, which adopted the FY1997-98 Budget, is hereby
amended by adding $1,508 to the Combined Utility Systems Fund.
SECTION 3. That $1,508 for the Clean Cities Project - Alternative Fuels Market
Development Program is transferred to and appropriated in the No. 162 Federal/State Grants Fund.
SECTION 4. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy
attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the
efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and
declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at
two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an
emergency measure this the 1 hday of Or itit—' , 1997.

suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings: I/we,

introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
