AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE AN
ADVANCE FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF TEXAS, ACTING
THROUGH ITS TEXAS TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION, SETTING FORTH
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF
TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND SIGNAL COORDINATION IMPROVEMENTS AT
VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN CORPUS CHRISTI, AND AUTHORIZING THE
DEPOSIT OF $129,061.19 WITH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION AS THE CITY'S 20% SHARE OF CONSTRUCTION COSTS;
AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute an advance
funding agreement with the State of Texas, acting through its Texas Transportation Commission, setting
forth responsibilities for the construction and maintenance of traffic signal and signal coordination
improvements at various locations in Corpus Christi. A copy of the agreement is on file with the City
Secretary.
SECTION 2. That the deposit of $129,061.19 with the Texas Department of Transportation as the
City's 20% share of construction costs is hereby authorized.
