HomeMy WebLinkAbout023179 ORD - 12/23/1997ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,916 FROM THE NUECES COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY IN THE NO. 111 TRACT 16 COMMUNITY CENTER TRUST FUND FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO TRACT 16 NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL BUILDING LOCATED AT 2835 BLAKE STREET; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $1,916 from the Nueces County Community Action Agency is appropriated in the No. 111 Trust Fund Tract 16 Community Center for improvements to Tract 16 Neighborhood Council Building located at 2835 Blake Street. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that is ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the &d day of beCtir7PY&' 1997.
