Southwest Airlines to be effective as October 1, 2017, with one two-year
option.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute a three-year signatory
airline use and lease agreement with Southwest Airlines, Inc., with one two-year option to extend,
and the agreement is ratified to be effective for all intents and purposes as of October 1, 2017.
SECTION 2. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, or word of this
ordinance is held invalid or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction,
it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, or word of this
ordinance, for it is the definite intent of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance be given full force and effect for its purpose.
