Accepting a grant in the amount of $250,000 from the State of Texas
Governor's Homeland Security Grants Division for funding eligible under the
FY2018 Department of Homeland Security Grant Program Operation
Stonegarden; and appropriating $250,000 in Police Grants Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to accept a grant in the amount of$250,000 from the State of Texas Governor's
Homeland Security Grants Division for funding eligible under the FY2018 Department of
Homeland Security Grant Program Operation Stonegarden to support state and local
efforts to prevent terrorism and other catastrophic events.
SECTION 2. That $250,000 is appropriated in the No. 1061 Police Grants Fund.
