HomeMy WebLinkAbout031920 ORD - 11/12/2019 Ordinance appropriating anticipated revenues from the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) in the amount of $635,549 and awarding a contract to Mako Contracting, LLC. for construction of pedestrian and lighting improvements for the S.E.A. District Pedestrian Improvement Project in the amount of$794,436.22. The project is located in City Council District 1 and the contract will begin upon issuance of notice to proceed. Funding is approved and available from an 80% TXDOT Grant and a 20% match from Street Bond 2016 CIP. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. Anticipated revenues from a TxDOT receivable are appropriated in Street CIP Fund 3530 SECTION 2. The Fiscal Year 2020 Capital Improvement Program Budget adopted by Ordinance 031870 is amended to increase revenues and expenditures in the amount of $635,549 for TxDOT's 80% match. The City's 20% match is available in Bond 2012 Street Proposition 8 proceeds. SECTION 3. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute a construction contract in the amount of$794,436.22 with Mako Contracting, LLC. for the S.E.A. District Pedestrian Improvement Project for installation of pedestrian and lighting improvements located in City Council District 1. SECTION 4.
