Public Comment: Please be advised that the Open Meetings Act prohibits the committee from responding and discussing your comments at length. The law only authorizes members to make a statement of factual information, recite an existing policy in response to the inquiry, or advise the citizen that this subject will be placed on an agenda at a later date. Russell Stowers introduced himself as the new Green Intern with the Solid Waste Department. Mr. Stowers attended UTSA and studied public policy. Jeff Craft: Introduced himself and informed the board that he is interested in one of the board vacancies. Mr. Craft is owner of Yin Yang Fandango and Tango Tea Room, President of downtown Farmers Market. V. Business for Discussion and Possible Action: o Update to Mayor Martinez's 2013 PRIDE Projects- Chair Schade o First Friday meeting every month. Start on East Side. o American Cancer Society- Bob Copes o Mig epidemiological study. Mayors Pride Committee is looking for 400 individuals in Corpus Christi area.
