Call to Order Time: @5:33 pm II. Roll Call of Members Other City Staff present: Angela Gonzalez, Kim Womack, Russell Stowers III. Approve Minutes & Absences of Nov. 26, 2012 o Motion F. Edwards Franklin o 2nd Motion Christina Hernandez IV. Public Comment: Please be advised that the Open Meetings Act prohibits the committee from responding and discussing your comments at length. The law only authorizes members to make a statement of factual information, recite an existing policy in response to the inquiry, or advise the citizen that this subject will be placed on an agenda at a later date. None... V. Business for Discussion and Possible Action: o Update to Mayor Martinez's 2013 PRIDE Projects- Chair Schade A. Updated Committee on Agnes /Laredo Street meeting with neighborhood services. Chair Schade described a "trickle up pride" initiative whereby an organization called PRIDE Club would focus on elementary, middle and high school's focus on "green and clean" initiative. B. First site Committee will investigate for March is Sonic on staples and Saratoga and invite Mayor and /or Mayor pro -tem to attend. • Introduction of new PRIDE Members Present Absent 1. Tabled discussion. • ArtWalk Recycling Containers -S. Schade A. Wrapped recycling containers will be needed. ■ Social Media, Facebook & Twitter- B. Copes A. Increased numbers of likes on Facebook. Top two liked posts were groundbreaking of Schlitterban and Destination Bay- Front. VI. Identify agenda items to be placed on next agenda Identify future Green and Clean sites for 2013. Oscar Carmona motion to focus on commercial establishments for Green and Clean sites. Bob Copes seconded motion. VII. Adjourn @ 6:27 pm
