IV. Approval of Minutes: Minutes from January 30, 2014
A correction was made in the spelling of Georganne Gasaway, Eric Newman made the
motion to approve the minutes, Paul Gottemoller, seconded, minutes were approved as
noted
V. Business for Discussion and Possible Action:
A. Review of subcommittee missions and 2015 goals
Members were asked to work on mission statements and goals for each of the
subcommittees.
Criselda Carrasco spoke on behalf of the RePridealization Subcommittee. Discussion
was had regarding the Mayor's Block Walk in November. Celina Pulcher spoke that
there needs to be a follow-up paint event in the area in order to complete the
project. Goals for 2015 included increased visibility in the Agnes-Laredo area,
conduct another block walk, create a plan for the Annaville area and identify
additional areas that could candidates for the future.
Laurie Turner spoke on behalf of the Community Outreach Subcommittee. The goals
for the subcommittee for 2015 included: 1) increasing social media presence, 2)

participating in community V ts, working it local it representatives I
effort to raise public awareness and 4) supporting Solid Waste in their environmental
efforts.The Subcommitteeparticipate in the annual Earth Day_Bay
eventDay ill be signing up volunteers to help man the booth, Supplies w0l be
ordered r purchased ahead of time r the event. It was asked that if anyone had
ideas for clever giveaways , they be sent to Laurie.
Christina Hernandez spoke on behalfof t icy Pete Subcommittee. stated the
program was currently in 14 schools. Goals for the new year included working with
the current sc Is, purchasing morerecognition br c ltts, and expandingthe Picky
Pete program in other schools. How to store and accept money needs to be worked
sponsorson for to be able .
Paul Gottemoller explained that the Recognitioni s working
through some ideas but they needed to regroup and wilt report back .

at the Walmart on Saratoga.
