III. Public Comment: Christina Hernandez resigned her position from the committee during
public comment.
IV. Approval of Minutes: Minutes from July 31, 2015
Criselda Carrasco made the motion to approve the minutes, Eric Newman, seconded,
minutes were approved as written.
V. Business for Discussion and Possible Action
A. Discussion and possible action on recognition event/name change
Criselda Carrasco discussed her positive feelings towards consolidation of the committee with
Clean City Advisory Committee. She felt that it would make a bigger difference to be combined
as one. Make them more of a force. Bill Hoelscher made the motion to consolidate the
committees, Eric Newman seconded the motion and all were in favor.
B. Updates from subcommittees:
None of the groups had made efforts to meet since last meeting, so no reports were
given.
C. Discussion and possible action of planning meeting:
PRIDE Meeting Minutes
July 31,2015
Celina Pulcher explained that there would be a planning meeting held with the two
committees present to get everyone's input.The date and time were to be determined.
D. Identify Agenda Items for August
None were discussed
IV. Meeting Adjourned: Eric Newman made the motion to adjourn, Amanda Avila seconded.
Meeting adjourned at 4:01pm
