The Airport Advisory Board reconvened on November 18, 1976 from a recessed meeting on November 8, 1976 in the Airport Manager's Office with the following persons in attendance: Hayden Head, Bob Welch, Pete Corona, Pete It and Paulin Glasson, board members; Douglas Matthews' Director of Public Utilities,, William Wilder, Airport Manager; Scott Bledsoe and Roger Gault, Fixed Base Operators; and Fred Beavers and R. C. all of H.E.B. The meeting was called to order at 11:05 a.m. by Hayden Head, chairman. Bob Welch suggested an area for private hangars could be designated in the northwest corner of airport land. All board members and fixed base operators commented on this location and expressed the opinion that this location would be more advantageous than the east location because of costs, access ability, and security. The board felt this location of still give ample room for fixed base operator future growth and still keep fixed base operators and private hangars segregated. Bob Welch made the motion that the master plan of the airport be amended to provide an area for private hangars lying to the north and west of a northeast extension of taxiway P. The motion was seconded by Pete Holt & Pete Corona and it passed unanimously. Bob Welch made the motion that H.E.B. 's request for the construction and main- tenance of a non-commercial aircraft hangar be granted in the northwest location so designated previously by the board. The motion was seconded by Pete Corona and it passed unanimously. There was no further business brought before the board and the meeting adjourned at 12:05 p.m. ilLUAOIder, A.A.E.
