APPROVAL
Chairman Pedrotti called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.
Mr. Pedrotti asked for approval or comments for the March 18, 1991
minutes. Minutes were approved as written with corrections. Willard
Hammonds absence was excused by majority vote.
DIRECTORS REPORT
A. FAA has reduced restrictions for patrols on apron & plain clothes
in terminal area. They are still enforcing all other Level IV
security measures. FAA is allowing family members of returning Desert
Storm military personnel to meet them at the gates with a pass from
the airline the military member is flying.
FAA approved design of perimeter fence and access control system.
Design will be completed by victor Gutierrez .
B . Construction Projects Status : Deadline today for response from
J. P. Stevens attorney regarding roof project.
109- 114 Project: Bay started construction on lighting contract.
Remaining portion of 114 project is completion of electrical and some
major clean up, 90% to 95% complete.
GA Apron: On schedule. Portion of apron in front of fire station and
first hangar of Page Avjet is closed and under construction.
victor Gutierrez is preparing a preliminary report to send to FAA on
the perimeter fence project.
Terminal renovation contract is downtown for finalization. Contract
will be scheduled in three phases: Space planning, Design Phase, &
Construction Phase.
C. Lease renewal ` s and RFPIs: Car rental company leases expire June
91 . Airlines will probably be charged more for landing fees. A. J.
is looking into request for proposals for service/gas station on Hwy
44 .
City Council approved purchase of four wheel drive vehicle for use on
airfield only, as emergency command post.
AAAE-AOCI will be distributing handbooks on PFC's. We have placed an
order. Charges will not be effective until possibly April or May
1992 .

Lanmon Aerial Photography asked if potholes could be repaired on their
entrance road.
Restaurant business is still off 60-65% owing to present security
restrictions.

A. The Terminal Renovation Contract is at engineering. When
returned, a copy will be sent to committee members for their input and
approval before final contract is approved.

CXMHITTEE O NMENITS:
Dan Pedrotti talked to Robert Rowling to discuss tourism package
ideas . He is waiting to hear from him to set up a date for meeting
with committee members.
Sylvia Gulley reported on expansion of airline service.
Bert Beecroft gave report on landscaping entrance road to airport.
suggested that contacts be made with Navy, Army, Aquarium, Museum,
etc. about putting up signs, planes, statues etc along median. He
will send letter and diagram to committee members for their input.

W. L. Bates moved that meeting be adjourned. Emerson Harris seconded
motion. Meeting adjourned at 5 : 29 pm.
