Supervisor's Report: Jeff Beynon gave the April report. The reclamations and adoptions are
down due to the "in between" of the actual breeding season. The pick-up of cats and opossums
went up this month however, the number of cats remain the same. Jeff indicated that we are
starting to see a lot of opossums around the city.
Rabies Report: Given by Jeff Beynon. There was one positive case reported in April in a
Northern Yellow bat in Kleberg County. Jeff indicated to the board that now is a good time to
be on the lookout for bats.
New Business: Susan Dellamea. gave a report on "Make A Difference Day" to support or
better our community. If our community knew what great animals that Animal Control has at
their facility, more people would want to adopt an animal. If the proposal is approved by the

The board members were all in agreement for the proposal to be submitted to the City Council.
The board moved to accept the proposal. The motion was seconded and approved.
