Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Cheryl Martinez at 12:47 P.M. 2. Discussion and Approval of Minutes from June 16,2016. Mark Phillips approves meeting minutes Samantha Person seconds, all approve,none oppose. 3. Discussion and Approval of Absences from June 16,2016 Megan Winn was absent in June because she was out of town working. Dr. Sara Andux's abscesses are unknown. Mark Phillips approves absences Samantha Person seconds, all approve,none oppose. 4. Discussion of Current Texas Department of State Health Services Region 11 Zoonosis Report General discussion of quarterly report. 5. Discussion of Parks and Wildlife Report General discussion on report. Cheryl Martinez notices a coyote was picked up and euthanized;Edward Cruz explains where coyote was picked up. 6. Discussion of Current Shelter Report and Clinic Report General discussion on Shelter Report for June. 7. Discussion regarding dogs left in hot cars Discussion regarding flyers printed out that could,if approved,be handed out to people regarding temperatures. Cheryl Martinez and Samantha Person talk about having an ordinance regarding Animal Care Officers being able to get into a vehicle if an animal is inside. Cheryl Martinez states she will email our legal advisor, Buck Brice for advice as to how to proceed with desired ordinance. 8. Discussion on TNR Cheryl Martinez states that this is an item Megan Tisdale wanted on agenda, since she is absent due to illness she will add it back on agenda for next month. 9. Public Comments None 10. Identify items to be placed on next agenda Items 1-6 Discussion and possible recommendation for ordinance regarding dogs left in hot cars Discussion on TNR 11. Adjournment Adjourn 12:09 p.m. Samantha Person moved to adjourn, Mark Phillips seconds, adjournment passed unanimously.
