I. CALL TO ORDER - The regular meeting of the Arts and Cultural Commission was called to order at
4:09 p.m. by Karina Carlisle.
II. ROLL CALL-The recording secretary called roll, announced quorum.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
a) Regular Meeting May 14, 2013
Stephen Rybak made a motion to approve the minutes. Cathy Harrison seconded. Minutes were
approved.
IV. PUBLIC COMMENT— None
V. OLD BUSINESS (DISCUSSION/ POSSIBLE ACTION)
Arts Grants Program —Scoring Tool
After review and discussion of the revised Scoring Tool draft it was determined by General Consensus
that the ACC members will continue their review. After everyone has had a chance to review, it will be
returned to City Staff to distribute for final discussion at the next meeting.
Utility Bill —Agreement with Arts & Cultural Alliance
Reba George announced that the Memo of Understanding between the City and the Arts and Cultural
Alliance has been signed and funds will now be distributed evenly among the 9 organizations from
February 2013 forward.
ACC Recruiting
Commissioners will continue to encourage potential candidates to apply with the City to join the
Commission.
VI. NEW BUSINESS (DISCUSSION /POSSIBLE ACTION)
Sandy Stein Sculpture—Proposal for relocation
Item tabled for discussion at the August meeting.
