HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Board Of Adjustment - 08/24/1994 - Public Hearing City of Corpus CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT Christi PUBLIC HEARING /`010 COUNCIL CHAMBERS-CITY HALL AUGUST 24, 1994 BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Steve Ortman, Acting Chairman Diana Garza Toni Tamez Edward Gonzalez BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: August Meinrath Patrick Veteto Jesse Barrera Acting Chairman Ortman opened the public hearing at 1 :35 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall and explained the procedure to be followed. **************************************************************** APPEAL NO. 3037 - Property located at 4321 Ayers REQUEST: Regional Transportation Authority, Lot A-2 & Annex B, Block B-i, Port Ayers Suburban Center, located in a B-4, General Business District requesting a special yard exception to reduce the minimum required 10 foot sideyard setback to zero feet and reduce the minimum required 20 feet front yard setback to 4 feet. REPLIES RECEIVED IN FAVOR: 0 REPLIES RECEIVED IN OPPOSITION: 0 APPEARING IN FAVOR: Bill Holland, Architect Chuck Urban APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: None STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approval Motion: Motion was made Mr. Gonzalez, seconded by Ms. Tamez and passed unanimously to approve the special exception to reduce the minimum required 10 foot sideyard setback to zero feet and reduce the minimum required 20 feet front yard setback to 4 feet on Lot A- 2 & Annex B, Block B-1, Port Ayers Suburban Center, since the Boar finds that in its opinion, as a matter of fact, such special exception will not substantially adversely affect the adjacent property. REPLIES RECEIVED IN FAVOR: 0 REPLIES RECEIVED IN OPPOSITION: 0 APPEARING IN FAVOR: Oscar O'Keefe, Architect APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: None STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approval Motion: Motion was made by Mr. Gonzalez, seconded by Ms . Garza and passed unanimously to approve an interpretation to allow 2 dwellings in multi family structure within a multi family complex where 3 units per structures are required on Portion of Lots 31 & 32 , Section 11, Flour Bluff Encinal Farm and Garden Tract, 5705 Lipes .
