Hines, Secretary II Chairman Meimath opened the public hearing at 1:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers at City Hall and explained the procedure to be followed. APPEAL NO. 3040 - Property located at 8314 Seashore REQUEST: Lang Nunnery, Portion of 3 & 4 of Block 30 & portion of 4 & 5 of Block 31, Flour Bluff Encinal Farm & Garden Tract, located in a R1B, One Family Dwelling District requesting a special use exception to locate a private stable for two years. Box 9277 • Corpus Christi, Texas 78469-9277 • (512) 880-3000 W\/ City of ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT Corpus PAGE 2 Chnsti OCTOBER 26, 1994 Motion: Motion was made by Mr. Veteto, seconded by Mr. Ortman and passed unanimously to approve the special use exception to locate a private stable for two years on Portion of 3&4 of Block 30 & portion of 4&5 of Block 31, Flour Bluff Encinal Farm & Garden Tract, since the Board finds that in its opinion, as a matter of fact, such special exception will not substantially adversely affect the adjacent property. NOTE: For detailed information on testimony, refer to the tape retained on file in the Community Development Department. APPEAL NO, 3041 - Property located at 1217 N. Tancahua REQUEST: Bob Dickson,Jr. representing W.T. Hough, Jr., Lots 4, 5, & 6, Block 34, Beach, located in a I-3, Heavy Industrial District requesting a special yard exception to reduce the minimum required 10 foot sideyard setback to zero feet. REPLIES RECEIVED IN FAVOR: 0 REPLIES RECEIVED IN OPPOSITION: 0 APPEARING IN FAVOR: Bob Dickson, Contractor APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approval Motion* Motion was made Mr. Ortman, seconded by Ms. Garza and passed unanimously to approve the special yard exception to reduce the minimum required 10 foot sideyard setback to zero feet, on Lots 4, 5, & 6, Block 34, Beach, since the Board finds that in its opinion, as a matter of fact, such special exception will not substantially adversely affect the adjacent property.
