CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Ted Stephens at 1:30 p.m. in the Council
Chambers on the first floor of City Hall.
II. ROLL CALL

A motion was made by Shane Torno and seconded Ramiro Munoz to excuse the
absence of Michael McCauley from the Regular Meeting of November 17, 2011. A roll
vote was taken and the motion passed.

III. MINUTES
A motion was made by Shane Torno, and seconded by Ramiro Munoz III to approve
the minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 17, 2011. A roll call vote was taken
and the motion passed.
IV. STAFF REPORT
Staff Report presented to the Board for discussion and information regarding cases
for 2009 -2011.
Motion was made by Shane Torno, seconded by Michael McCauley to open the public
hearing. A roll call vote was taken and the motion passed.
V. NEW BUSINESS
1. 142 Caribbean Dr commercial, (Surfside, Lots 15, 16 & 1 7)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
To grant repairs due to the extent of
deterioration.

Motion: A motion was made by Ramiro Munoz III, seconded by Ted Stephens to
amend staff recommendations to allow repairs to the structure(s) according to
Section 13 -26 (G) (1) (a) of the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances in
which the owner be allowed fourteen (14) days to board -up and secure structure
and twelve (12) months to obtain the proper permits to demolish or start repairs
to the structure(s) located at 142 Caribbean Dr, commercial (Surfside, Lots
15,16 & 17 ). A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously.
2. 2920 Dixie St. residence, (Harlem Park, Lot 5 Block 8)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
To grant repairs due to the extent of
deterioration.

Motion: A motion was made by Ted Stephens, seconded by Ramiro Munoz I II
to accept staff recommendations to allow repairs to the structure(s) according
to Section 13 -26 (G) (1) (a) of the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances in
which the owner be allowed thirty (30) days to obtain the proper permits and
start repairs to the structure(s) located at 2920 Dixie St. residence, (Harlem
Park, Lot 5 Block 8 and if repairs are started, an additional sixty (60) days be
allowed to complete the repairs. A roll call vote was taken and passed
unanimously.
3. 525 Jane St. residence, (Flour Bluff Estates #2, N112 Lt 4 Block 11)

Motion A motion was made by Ted Stephens seconded by Ramiro Munoz III to
amend staff recommendations to allow repairs to the structure(s) according to
Section 13 -26 (G) (1) (a) of the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances in
which the owner be allowed thirty (30) days to obtain the proper permits and
start repairs to the structure(s) located at 525 Jane St. residence, (Flour Bluff
_Estates #2, N1 /2 Lt 4 Block 11 and if repairs are started, an additional ninety
(90) days be allowed to complete the repairs. A roll call vote was taken and
passed unanimously.
4. 234 Lola Johnson Rd. residence, (Lola Johnson Belk Add, Lot 15)

Motion. A motion was made by Shane Torno seconded by Michael McCauley to
accept staff recommendations to allow repairs to the structure(s) according to
Section 13 -26 (G) (1) (a) of the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances in
which the owner be allowed thirty (30) days to obtain the proper permits and
start repairs to the structure(s) located at 234 Lola Johnson Rd. residence,
(Lola Johnson Belk Add, Lot 15 and if repairs are started, an additional sixty
(60) days be allowed to complete the repairs. A roll call vote was taken and
passed unanimously.
5. 4402 Molina Dr. residence, (Molina 2, N12 of Lot 6 Block 7)

Motion: A motion was made by Ramiro Munoz III seconded by Michael
McCauley to accept staff recommendations to allow repairs to the structure(s)
according to Section 13 -26 (G) (1) (a) of the City of Corpus Christi Code of
Ordinances in which the owner be allowed thirty (30) days to obtain the proper
permits and start repairs to the structure(s) located at 4402 Molina Dr.
residence, (Molina 2, Nf2 of Lot 6 Block 7 and if repairs are started, an
additional sixty (60) days be allowed to complete the repairs. A roll call vote
was taken and passed unanimously.

VII. ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Shane Torno, seconded by Michael McCauley to adjourn
the hearing at 2:25 p.m. on January 26, 2012.
