I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Shane Torno at 1:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers on
the first floor of City Hall.

III. MINUTES
A motion was made by Craig Loving and seconded by Lee Hassman to approve the minutes
of the Regular Meeting of December 5, 2014. A roll call vote was taken and the motion
passed.
IV. STAFF REPORT
Staff Report presented to the Board for discussion and information regarding cases for 2013
to present.
V. OLD BUSINESS
1. Case returning to the board from the regular meeting of December 5, 2014.
2221 Lexington, Demolition (Shoreline PK., Block 4 Lot 5)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration
APPEARING IN FAVOR: Jason Tucker, representing Flint Hills Resources
APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0
Motion:
A motion was made by Shane Torno and seconded by Matthew Ezell to accept the staff
recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-
26(G)(1)(c) of the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances in which the owner will be
allowed sixty(60) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the
structure(s) located at 2221 Lexington Ave, residence &accessory structure(Shoreline Pk.,
Block 4 Lot 51. If the demolition is not started and completed as required,then the City is
authorized to demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously.
VI. NEW BUSINESS
1. 4601 Angela Dr., Demolition (56%)(Molina 2, Block 11 Lot 21A)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration
APPEARING IN FAVOR: 0
APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0
Motion:
A motion was made by Shane Torno and seconded by Craig Loving to accept the staff
recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-
26(G)(1)(c) of the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances in which the owner will be
allowed thirty(30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the
structure(s) located at 4601 Angela Dr, residence and accessory structure(Molina 2, Block
11 Lot 21A). If the demolition is not started and completed as required,then the City is
authorized to demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously.
2. 4621 Branscomb Dr., Demolition (59%) (Parkdale Village, Block 5 Lot 22)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration

APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0
Motion:
A motion was made by Craig Loving and seconded by Matthew Ezell to accept the staff
recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-
26(G)(1)(c) of the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances in which the owner will be
allowed thirty(30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the
structure(s) located at 4621 Branscomb Dr., residence and accessory structure(Parkdale
Village, Blocks Lot 22). If the demolition is not started and completed as required, then the
City is authorized to demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously.
3. 9029 Caroline Rd., Demolition (57%) (McNorton 2, Block 6 Lot 7)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration

APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0
Motion:
A motion was made by Craig Loving and seconded by Lee Hassman to accept the staff
recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-
26(G)(1)(c) of the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances in which the owner will be
allowed thirty(30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the
structure(s) located at 9029 Caroline Rd., residence(McNorton 2, Block 6 Lot 7). If the
demolition is not started and completed as required,then the City is authorized to
demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously.
4. 9110 McNorton Rd., Demolition (59%)(McNorton 2, Block 4 Lot 14)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration
APPEARING IN FAVOR: 0
APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0
Motion:
A motion was made by Lee Hassman and seconded by Matthew Ezell to accept the staff
recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-
26(G)(1)(c) of the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances in which the owner will be
allowed thirty(30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the
structure(s) located at 9110 McNorton Rd., residence and accessory structure(McNorton 2,
Block4 Lot 14). If the demolition is not started and completed as required,then the City is
authorized to demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously.
5. 2929 Sabinas St., Demolition (62%)(Dunbar, Block B Lot 20)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration
APPEARING IN FAVOR: 0
APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0
Motion:
A motion was made by Matthew Ezell and seconded by Craig Loving to accept the staff
recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-
26(G)(1)(c) of the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances in which the owner will be
allowed thirty(30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the
structure(s) located at 2929 Sabinas St., residence and accessory structure(Dunbar, Block B
W20). If the demolition is not started and completed as required,then the City is
authorized to demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously.
6. 1924 Stillman Ave., Demolition (61%) (Hillcrest, Block 28 Lots 13& 14)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration
APPEARING IN FAVOR: 0
APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0
Motion:
A motion was made by Lee Hassman and seconded by Craig Loving to accept the staff
recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-
26(G)(1)(c) of the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances in which the owner will be
allowed thirty(30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the
structure(s) located at 1924 Stillman Ave., residence and accessory structure(Hillcrest,
Block 28 Lots 13& 14). If the demolition is not started and completed as required,then the
City is authorized to demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously.

A motion was made by Craig Loving and seconded by Lee Hassman to adjourn the hearing at
2:30 p.m. on May 28, 2015.
