I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Shane Torno at 1:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers on
the first floor of City Hall.

111. MINUTES
A motion was made by Clarissa Beltran and seconded by Matthew Ezell to approve the
minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 20, 2015. A roll call vote was taken and the
motion passed.
IV. ABSENCES
A motion was made by Craig Loving and seconded by Clarissa Beltran to excuse the
absences from the Regular Meeting of August 20,2015. A roll call vote was taken and the
motion passed.
V. STAFF REPORT
Staff Report presented to the Board for discussion and information regarding cases for 2013
to present.
VI. PUBLIC COMMENT
A motion was made by Shane Torno to open the floor for public comment. As there was no
response, Shane Torno closed the public comment.
VII. OLD BUSINESS
Cases returning to the board from the regular meeting of August 20, 2015.
1. 625 Gordon St., Demolition (62%)(Lindale Park 4, Block 40 Lot W 24.4' Lot 9 all Iots10
through 12 W 64.48 Lot 13)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration
APPEARING IN FAVOR: Officer Isaac Rodriguez,Jennifer Richter,Tom Grant,
Norm Walters, Captain David Blackmon
APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0
Motion:
A motion was made by Shane Torno and seconded by Lee Hassman to accept the staff
recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-
22(H)(1)(c) of the Corpus Christi Property Maintenance Code in which the owner will be
allowed thirty(30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the
structure(s) located at 625 Gordon St., multi-apartment units(Lindale Park 4, Block 40 Lot
W 24.4'Lot 9 a111ots10 through 12 W 64.48 Lot 13). If the demolition is not started and
completed as required,then the City is authorized to demolish. A roll call vote was taken
and passed unanimously.
2. 5029 Williams Dr., Demolition (53%)(Gardendale#2, Block 2 Lot 7)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration

APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: Gregorio Esparza,Alma Leticia Suazo
Motion:
A motion was made by Matthew Ezell and seconded by Craig Loving to reject the staff
recommendation and table 5029 Williams Dr., residence(Gardendale#2, Block2 Lot 7)
until the next regular meeting on November 19, 2015. A roll call vote was taken and passed
unanimously.
VIII. NEW BUSINESS
1. 2903 Mary St., Demolition (58%)(Steele, Block 10 Lot 18& Part of Alley)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration
APPEARING IN FAVOR: Corina Longoria
APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0
Motion:
A motion was made by Shane Torno and seconded by Craig Loving to accept the staff
recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-
22(H)(1)(c) of the Corpus Christi Property Maintenance Code in which the owner will be
allowed thirty(30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the
structure(s) located at 2903 Mary St., residence(Steele, Block 10 Lot 18&Part of Alley). If
the demolition is not started and completed as required,then the City is authorized to
demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously.
2. 133 Clemmer St., Demolition (52%)(Southmoreland,Block 10 Lot 3)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration
APPEARING IN FAVOR: 0
APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0
Motion:
A motion was made by Clarissa Beltran and seconded by Matthew Ezell to accept the staff
recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-
22(H)(1)(c) of the Corpus Christi Property Maintenance Code in which the owner will be
allowed thirty(30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the
structure(s) located at 133 ClemmerSt., residence(Southmoreland, Block 10 Lot 3). If the
demolition is not started and completed as required,then the City is authorized to
demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously.
3. 3801 Prescott St., Demolition (63%)(Temple, Block 14 Lot 9 Less POR to ROW)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration

APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0
Motion:
A motion was made by Craig Loving and seconded by Shane Torno to accept the staff
recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-
22(H)(1)(c) of the Corpus Christi Property Maintenance Code in which the owner will be
allowed thirty(30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the
structure(s) located at 3801 Prescott St., residence and accessory structure(Temple, Block
14 Lot 9 Less POR to ROW). If the demolition is not started and completed as required,then
the City is authorized to demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously.

Motion:
A motion was made by Craig Loving and seconded by Clarissa Beltran to accept the staff
recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-
22(H)(1)(c) of the Corpus Christi Property Maintenance Code in which the owner will be
allowed thirty(30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the
structure(s) located at 1618 Sixteenth St., residence(Fitchne Place, Block 1303 Lot 41 &42
&Adl Alley). If the demolition is not started and completed as required,then the City is
authorized to demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously.
5. 306 Torreon St., Demolition (57%) (Coronado, Block 11 Lot 301
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration
APPEARING IN FAVOR: 0
APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0
Motion:
A motion was made by Lee Hassman and seconded by Matthew Ezell to accept the staff
recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-
22(H)(1)(c) of the Corpus Christi Property Maintenance Code in which the owner will be
allowed thirty(30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the
structure(s) located at 306 Torreon St., residence(Coronado, Block 11 Lot 30). If the
demolition is not started and completed as required,then the City is authorized to
demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously.

A motion was made by Shane Torno to adjourn the hearing at 3:25 P.M. on September 24,
