Hassman at 1:40 P.M. in the Council Chambers on the first floor of City Hall. ROLL CALL Board Members Present Lee R. Hassman Craig S. Loving (Late) Joel De La Garza Gary K. Adams Lillian T. Helms Staff Present David Prado, Code Enforcement Superintendent, Police Diana T. Garza, Code Compliance Officer/ Liaison, Police Glenda Doner, Administrative Support II, Police Rachel Ramirez, Administrative Support II, Police Yvette Aguilar, Assistant City Attorney III. Board Members Absent Dante C. Miller Tim Honea IV. MINUTES A motion was made by Gary K. Adams and seconded by Joel De La Garza to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 29, 2018. A roll call vote was taken, and the motion passed unanimously. V. STAFF REPORT The Staff Report was presented to the Board for discussion and information regarding cases for 2017 to present. VI. PUBLIC COMMENT A motion was made by Lee R. Hassman to open the floor for public comment. As there was no response, Lee R. Hassman closed the public comment. VII. NEW BUSINESS 1. 626 GLAZEBROOK ST.. Demolition (54%) (LIN DALE PARK 4.2277 ACS OUT OF LT 7 BLK 39 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration. APPEARING IN FAVOR: 0 APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: Deborah Sherril Motion: A motion was made by Lillian T. Holmes and seconded by Lee R. Hassman to reject the staff recommendation and table this case for 30 days to allow permits to be pulled and require a plan of action to be presented in the next board hearing. 2. 3014 CAPRICE DR., Demolition MOBILE HOME (60%) ACCESSORY (50%) (SANDY OAKS LT 11BK5 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration. APPEARING IN FAVOR: APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: Motion: A motion was made by Lee R. Hassman and seconded by Gary K. Adams to accept the staff recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-22(H) (1) (c) of the Corpus Christi Property Maintenance Code in which the owner will be allowed thirty (30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the structure(s) located at 3014 CAPRICE DR.. (SANDY OAKS LT. 11 BK5). If the demolition is not started and completed as required, then the City is authorized to demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously. 3. 314 TORREON ST.Demolition (56%) (CORONADO BILK 31 LOT 32 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration. APPEARING IN FAVOR: 0 APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0 Motion: A motion was made by Joel De La Garza and seconded by Craig S. Loving to accept the staff recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-22(H) (1) (c) of the Corpus Christi Property Maintenance Code in which the owner will be allowed thirty (30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the structure(s) located at 314 TORREON ST.. (CORONADO BLK 11 LOT 32). If the demolition is not started and completed as required, then the City is authorized to demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously. VIII. OLD BUSINESS 1. 2321 DAVID ST.. Demolition (56%) ACCESSORY (35%) (SEGREST LT 1 BLK 7 & POR OF ALLEY STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration. APPEARING IN FAVOR: APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: Motion: A motion was made by Craig S. Loving and seconded by Lee R. Hassman to accept the staff recommendation and require demolition of the structure(s) according to Section 13-22(H) (1) (c) of the Corpus Christi Property Maintenance Code in which the owner will be allowed thirty (30) days to obtain proper permits and complete the demolition of the structure(s) located at 2321 DAVID ST.. (SEGREST LT 1 BLK 7 & POR OF ALLEY). If the demolition is not started and completed as required, then the City is authorized to demolish. A roll call vote was taken and passed unanimously. IX. IDENTIFYING ITEMS FOR FUTURE AGENDA No future items identified for upcoming hearing. X. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Lee R. Hassman to adjourn the hearing at 2:30 P.M. on January 24, 2019. .
