Hines, Secretary The meeting was called to order by Chairman Jones at 1:34 p.m., in the Council Chambers on the first floor of City Hall. The meeting was opened by informing those that the appropriate notices has been sent to the property owners and notices published in the newspaper: A slide presentation showing the condition of each property was conducted by staff. The following are summaries of action taken by board. ******************************************************************************* 2311 Greer-Nolan Addition, Block 1, Lot 7 Shiloh Properties, owner STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To allow repairs due to the extent of deterioration APPEARING IN FAVOR: 0 APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0 Motion: Motion was made by Mr. Goin, seconded by Mrs. Bacak and passed unanimously to grant the repairs to the vacant structure according to Section 13-26(G),)1),(a)of the Corpus Christi, Code of Ordinance allowing thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and sixty (60) days to complete repairs or thirty(30) days to complete the demolition of the property located at 2311 Greer, Nolan Addition, Block 1, Lot 7. If repairs or demolition are not started and completed as required, the City be authorized to demolish. APPEARING IN FAVOR: Mr. John Carrizales, friend of owner APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0 Motion: Motion was made by Mr. Goin, seconded by Mrs. Bacak and passed unanimously to grant repairs to the vacant structure and detached garage according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (a) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinance allowing thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and sixty (60) days to complete repairs or thirty (30) days to complete the demolition of the property located at 4922 Jo Ann, South Park,Lot 10,Block 7. If repairs or demolition are not started and completed as required, the City be authorized to demolish. Fuller, owner STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration APPEARING IN FAVOR: Mr. Ramon Villagomez, owner APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0 Motion: Motion was made by Mrs.Bacak,seconded by Ms. Guerrera and passed unanimously to reverse the board decision of November 18, 1999 for demolition and to which was to grant repairs to the vacant main structure and detached garage according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (a) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinance allowing thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and one hundred twenty (120) days to complete repairs to the property or thirty (30) days to complete demolition of the property located at 2033 Home, Midway, Block 2, Lot 20. If repairs or demolition are not started and completed as required, the City be authorized to demolish.
