The meeting was called to order by Chairman, D. Ray Jones at 1:44 p.m. in the Council
Chambers on the first floor of City Hall.
The meeting was opened by informing those that the appropriate notices have been sent
to the property owners and notices published in the newspaper. A visual presentation
showing the condition of each property was conducted by staff. The following are
summaries of action taken by the Board.
429 Claride—Flour Bluff Estates #2, Lot 10 B, Block 7 Elda Rogers, Owner
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To grant repairs to the main structure and the detached
Garage due to the extent of deterioration.
APPEARING IN FAVOR: Elda Rogers, Owner
APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0
Motion: Motion was made by Mr. Garza, seconded by Mr. McGuire and passed
unanimously to accept the staff recommendation and grant the repairs to the main
LLI structure and detached garage according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (a) of the Corpus
Christi Code of Ordinance allowing thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and sixty (60)
days to complete the repairs of the property located at 429 Claride, Flour Bluff Estates
#2,Lot 10 B, Block 7. If repairs or demolition are not started and completed as required,
CIthe City be authorized to demolish.

Motion: Motion was made by Ms. Bacak seconded by Ms. Sanjines and passed
unanimously to accept the staff recommendation and allow demolition to the structure
according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (c) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinance allowing
thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and thirty (30) days to complete the demolition of the
property located at 1430 El Paso, Los Encinos, Lot 30, Block E. If demolition is not
started and completed as required,the City be authorized to demolish.

obtain a permit and sixty (60) days to complete repairs or thirty (30) days to complete the
demolition of the property located at 1025 Hermine, Flour Bluff Point, Lot 13 A,

thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and thirty (30) days to complete the demolition of the

(30) days to obtain a permit and sixty (60) days to complete the repairs or thirty (30) days

obtain a permit and thirty (30) days to complete the demolition of the property located at

allowing thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and sixty (60) days to complete repairs or
thirty (30) days to complete the demolition and to allow demolition of the attached rear
accessory structure according to Section 13-26, (G), (1), (c) allowing thirty (30) days to
obtain a permit and thirty (30) days to complete demolition of the property located at
2717 Johanna,Lexington, E 50' of Lot 23,Block 2. If repairs or demolition are not
started and completed as required,the City be authorized to demolish. Owner is also
required to secure all entrances to main structure immediately and to attend the hearing
scheduled for November 15, 2001 with a copy of an engineer's report and to see what
progress has been made.

thirty days to obtain a permit and one hundred fifty (150) days to complete repairs of the
property located at 4322 Molina,Molina#2,Lot 11B,Block 7. If repairs or demolition
are not started and completed as required, the City be authorized to demolish.

unanimously to amend staff recommendation and allow repairs to the structure according
to Section 13-26, (G), (1), (a) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinance allowing thirty
days to obtain a permit and one hundred fifty (150) days to complete repairs of the
property located at Beach Lot 7, less 9.16' x 99.16', Block 2. If repairs or demolition
are not started and completed as required, the City be authorized to demolish.
