The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Beverly Bacak at 1:38 p.m. in the Council
Chambers on the first floor of City Hall.
The meeting was opened by informing those that the appropriate notices have been sent
to the property owners and notices published in the newspaper. A visual presentation
showing the condition of each property was conducted by staff. The following are
summaries of action taken by the Board.
5710 S.Alameda—Main Structure Waverly Estates 3, Lot LR, Block 1
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To grant repairs to the structure due to the
extent of deterioration.

Motion: Motion was made by Mr. McGuire, seconded by Mr. Garza and passed
unanimously to accept staff recommendation and allow demolition to the structure
according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (c) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances
allowing thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and thirty (30) days to complete the
demolition of the property located at 1204 Tenth, Bay View, Lot 19,Block 14. If
demolition is not started and completed as required,the city be authorized to demolish
