Huerta, Secretary The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Beverly Bacak at 1:40 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the first floor of City Hall. The meeting was opened by informing those that the appropriate notices have been sent to the property owners and notices published in the newspaper. A visual presentation showing the condition of each property was conducted by staff. The following are summaries of action taken by the Board. 1217 Coleman Ext. to S. End, Lot 4, Block 14 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To grant repairs to the structure due to the extent of deterioration. APPEARING IN FAVOR: 0 APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0 SCANNED P.O.Box 9277 • Corpus Christi,Texas 78469-9277 • (361)880-3000 ( a Motion: Motion was made by Mr. Garza, seconded by Mr. Hoffman and passed unanimously to accept the staff recommendation and allow repairs to the structure according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (a) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances allowing thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and sixty (60) days to complete the repairs to City Code standards for the property located at 1217 Coleman, Ext. to S. End Lot 4, Block 14. If repairs are not started and completed as required, the City be authorized to demolish. Room and Storage Room STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To allow demolition due to the extent of deterioration APPEARING IN FAVOR: Esther Cruz APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0 Motion: Motion was made by Mr. Garza, seconded by Mr. McGuire and passed unanimously to accept staff recommendation and allow demolition to the structures according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (c) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances allowing thirty(30) days to obtain a permit and thirty(30) days to complete the demolition of the property located at 2608 aka 2606 Coleman, Summit,Lots 19 & 20 Block 3. If demolition is not started and completed as required,the city be authorized to demolish. NOTE: For detailed information on testimony, refer to the tape retained on file in the Community Development Department. 2618 Coleman Main Structure Summit, Lot 14, Block 3 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To allow demolition due to the extent of deterioration APPEARING IN FAVOR: 0 APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0 Motion: Motion was made by Mr. Garza seconded by Ms. Sanjines and passed unanimously to accept staff recommendation and allow demolition to the structure according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (c) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances allowing thirty(30) days to obtain a permit and thirty(30) days to complete the demolition of the property located at 2618 Coleman, Summit,Lot 14,Block 3. If demolition is not started and completed as required, the City be authorized to demolish. If demolition is not started and completed as required, the city be authorized to demolish. Mr. Garza, seconded by Ms. Guerra and passed unanimously to accept staff recommendation and grant repairs to the structure according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (a) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances allowing thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and sixty(60) days to complete the repairs to City Code standards for the property located at 901 Kinney, South Bluff,Lot 1,Block 12. If repairs or demolition are not started and completed as required, the city be authorized to demolish. APPEARING IN FAVOR: 0 APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0 Motion: Motion was made by Mr. Garza, seconded by Mr. Spiker and passed unanimously to accept the staff recommendation and grant repairs according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (a) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances allowing thirty(30) days to obtain a permit and sixty(60) days to complete the repairs to City Code standards for the property located at 1823 Peabody,Hillcrest,Lots 11 & 12,Block 27. If repairs or demolition are not started and completed as required, the city be authorized to demolish. Motion: Motion was made by Ms. Guerra, seconded by Mr. Garza and passed unanimously to amend the staff recommendation and allow demolition to the garage according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (c) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances allowing thirty(30) days to obtain a permit and sixty(60) days to complete the demolition and secure the main structure located at 309 Sandbar,Brooklyn, Entire Lot 24. If demolition is not started and completed as required, the city be authorized to demolish NOTE: For detailed information on testimony, refer to the tape retained on file in the Community Development Department. 624 Twenty Fifth Main Structure Juarez, Lot 24, Block 1 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration. APPEARING IN FAVOR: 0 APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0 Motion: Motion was made by Mr. Garza, seconded by Mr. Hoffman and passed unanimously to accept the staff recommendation and allow demolition according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (c) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances allowing thirty(30) days to obtain a permit and thirty(30) days to complete the demolition of the property located at 624 Twenty Fifth, Juarez, Lot 24,Block 1. If demolition is not started and completed as required, the city be authorized to demolish.
