The Board was informed that the appropriate notices have been sent to the property owners,and notices have been published in the local newspaper. Staff conducted a visual presentation showing the condition of each property.The following are summaries of action taken by the Board. CORRECTION: Corrections to the Minutes of the Building Standards Board for May 26,2005 are necessary. 1614 SEVENTEENTH Fitchue Place,Lots 39-40,Block 1403 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To require demolition due to the extent of deterioration. APPEARING IN FAVOR: Oscar Soliz APPEARING IN OPPOSITION: 0 Motion: Motion was made by Gregory Spivey,seconded by Frank Hastings and passed unanimously to amend staff recommendation and allow six(6)months to complete repairs to the structure(s)according to Section 13-26(G),(1),(a)of the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances allowing thirty(30)days to obtain a permit and one hundred fifty(150)days to complete the repairs to City Code standards and a status report of progress to be presented at August 25,2005 Hearing for the property located at 1614 Seventeenth,Fitchue Place,Lot 39-40,Block 1403. If repairs are not started and completer as required,the City is authorized to demolish.
