Hines, Secretary II The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Sandra Field at 1:40 p.m., in the Council Chambers at City Hall. A quorum was present. The meeting was opened by informing those present that the appropriate notices has been sent to the property owners and notices published in the newspaper. A slide presentation showing the condition of each property was conducted by staff. The following are summaries of action taken by the Board. ******************************************************************************* 11329 Blades -Mesa-Lot 3, Block 2 J.M.Mitchum c/o Dawn Harding,owner STAFF RECOMMENDATION: To allow repairs due to the extent of deterioration APPEARING IN FAVOR: 0 APPEARING AGAINST: 0 Motion: Motion was made by Mr. D. Jones, seconded by Rev. Houston and passed unanimously to allow repairs to this occupied dwelling according to Section 13-26(g), (1),(a)of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinance allowing thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and sixty (60) days to complete repairs or thirty(30) days to complete the demolition of the property located at 11329 Blades,Mesa,Lot 3,Block 2. If repairs or demolition are not started and completed as required,the City be authorized to demolish. Houston and passed unanimously to allow demolition of the 4 -vacant apartment units according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (c) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinance allowing thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and sixty (60) days to complete demolition of the property located at 2901 Carver, Reynolds, Lot 13, Block B. If demolition is not started and completed as required,the City be authorized to demolish. Another motion was made by Mr. Veteto, seconded by Rev Houston to allow repairs to the one story family dwelling according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (a) of the Corpus Christi Code of • Ordinance allowing thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and sixty (60) days to complete repairs or thirty(30)days to complete the demolition of the property located 3453 Floyd,P.A. If demolition is started, allowing thirty (30) days to complete the demolition; to allow demolition to the accessory structure according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (c) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinance allowing thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and thirty (30) days to complete demolition of the property located at 9022 McNorton,McNorton#2, Lot 20,Block 4. Jones, seconed by Mr. Veteto and passed unanimously to reverse prior decision to allow repairs to vacant structure according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (a) of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinance allowing thirty (30) days to obtaina permit and sixty (60) days to complete repairs or thirty(30)days to complete the demolition of the property located 1106 Poth, Grace Heights, Lot 32, Block. If repairs or demolition are not started and completed as required,the City be authorized to demolish.
