The meeting was called to order by Chairman Sandra Field at 1:45 p.m.,in the Council Chambers
at City Hall. A quorum was present.
The meeting was opened by informing those present that the appropriate notices has been sent to the
property owners and notices published in the newspaper. A slide presentation showing the condition
of each property was conducted by staff. The following are summaries of action taken by Board.

amend staff recommendation and allow repairs to the apartment units according to Section 13-26
(G),(1),(a)of the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinance allowing sixty(60)days to obtain a permit and
ninety to complete repairs or thirty(30) days to complete the demolition of the property located at

Motion was made by Mr. Veteto, seconded by Mr. Hada to amend staff recommendation to allow
repairs to the occupied structures according to Section 13-26(G),(1),(a)of the Corpus Christi Code
of Ordinance allowing thirty(30) days to obtain a permit and ninety (90) days to complete repairs
or thirty(30)days to complete the demolition of the property at 122 Virginia,Meadow Park,Lot 19,
Block 4. If repairs or demolition are not started and completed as required,the City be authorized
to demolish. Motion was made by Mr.Veteto to table the case, seconded by.Mr. Hada. A motion
was made by Mr. Hada, seconded by Mr. Veteto to bring case back for discussion. Motion was
made by Mr. Hada, seconded.by Mr. D. Jones to accept staff recommendation for demolition.

The issues of Board absences was addressed. Motion was made and seconded and passed
unanimously not to excuse Mr.Bill Goin and Rev. Harvey Houston.
