MINUTES OF THE BUILDING STANDARD BOARD
OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Sandra Field at 1:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers
at City Hall. A quorum was present.
The meeting was opened by informing those that the appropriate notices has been sent to the
property owners and notices published in the newspaper.A slide presentation showing the condition
of each property was conducted by staff. The following are summaries of action taken by Board.

Motion: Motion was made by Mr. D. Jones, seconded by Mr. Veteto and passed unanimously
to allow repairs to the vacant structure according to Section 13-26 (G), (1), (a) of the Corpus Christi
Code of Ordinance allowing thirty (30) days to obtain a permit and ninety (90) days to complete
repairs or thirty (30) days to complete the demolition of the property located at 922 Booty, Ocean
View, Block 6, W 65' of Lot 12 & 13. If repairs or demolition are not started and completed as
required the City be authorized to demolish.

repairs or thirty (30) days ; to allow demolition to the storage sheds and attached enclosed garage

days to obtain a permit and thirty (30) days to complete demolition of the property located at 4413

Motion: Motion was made Mr. D. Jones, seconded by Mr. Veteto and passed unanimously
to repair garage and amend staff recommendatin to allow repairs to the attached storage room, with
required engineers foundation plan on entire structure according Section 13-26 (G), (1), (a) of the
Corpus Christi Code of Ordinance allowing thirty(30) days to obtain a permit and ninety (90) days
to complete repairs to the property located at 313 N. Morningside, Morningside,Lot 17, Block 6.
If repairs or demolition are not started and completed as required,the City be authorized to demolish.
The Board ask staff to bring a progress report back to the November 1998 hearing.
