Mr. West called the meeting to order at 12:03 pm and verified the necessary quorum. Ms. Gutierrez cam
in after the meeting had already started.
REVIEW AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING ABSENCES
None
REVIEW AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING MINUTES •
Ms. Moon made the motion to accept the minutes from April 19, 2010 as presented and Mr.
Estrada seconded the motion and all present were in favor.
Ms. Moon made the motion to accept the minutes from the May 16, 2010 meeting as presented
and Mr. Estrada seconded the motion and all present were in favor.
COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS AND TERMS
Ms. Gutierrez's term on the Cable Communications Commission expires July 31, 2010. She is
eligible for reappointment by the City Council. Ms. Womack asked if the Commission would like
to reappoint or see a list of applicants for the position. Discussion took place with Ms. Gutierrez
confirming she would like to be reappointed. Ms. Sellers further noted that she would like to see
the applicants before a decision was made since there are other residents who might like to serve.
The Commission gave direction to staff to bring back a list of applicants to the July meeting for a
recommendation for the City Council.
FCC WIRELESS MICROPHONE INFORMATION
Ms. Womack updated the Commission on some of the developments regarding FCC regulations
regarding wireless microphones. There was some discussion regarding impact to producers and
churches.
REVIEW AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING VIOLATION APPEALS
Joel Garza represented the four entities with violations associated with the Bridge Church (La
Iglesia The Bridge #1, La Iglesia the Bridge #2, The Bridge Church #1, The Bridge Church #2)
regarding the alleged violations. Discussion occurred regarding the 10 second rule and Ms.
Sellers asked that the PAUG Presidents be proactive with the producers and help as much as
possible. Ms. Sellers motioned to dismiss the violations against the church programs with Mr.
West seconding. The motion passed with Ms. Gutierrez voting for dismissal and Ms. Moon and
Mr. Estrada voting against. Mr. Gordy further withdrew any additional complaints of violation
against the listed shows.
Mr. Mark Di Carlo the producer for Voices of the Coastal Bend represented himself regarding the
complaints against his program. The Commissions decided to handle each violation individually
going in date order. Mr. Di Carlo pointed out that the shows he is choosing to repeat are the

shows with identification issues. He further pointed out that he had not received any complaints
regarding the shows when previously aired.
The first program DVD was played for the Commission with Ms. Moon motioning to dismiss and
Ms. Sellers seconding the motion.All were in favor of dismissal.
The second program DVD was played for the Commission with Ms. Moon motioning to dismiss
and Mr. Estrada seconding the motion. All were in favor of dismissal.
The third program DVD was played for the Commission with Ms. Moon motioning to dismiss
and Mr. Estrada seconding the motion.All were in favor of dismissal.
The fourth program DVD was played for the Commission. The program originally aired in 1999
and identification was thought be insufficient by the Commission. Ms. Moon motioned to access
a violation and Mr. West seconding the motion. All were favor of the motion except for Ms.
Sellers who opposed.
The fifth program DVD was played for the Commission with Ms. Moon motioning to dismiss
and Mr. West seconding the motion.All were in favor of dismissal.
The sixth program DVD was played for the Commission with Ms. Moon motioning to dismiss
and Mr. West seconding the motion.All were in favor of dismissal.
The seventh program DVD was played for the Commission with Ms. Moon motioning to dismiss
and Mr. West seconding the motion.All were in favor of dismissal.
Mr. Gordy withdrew his complaint against the eighth program noting the Commissions previous
decisions regarding the violations.
REVIEW AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING CABLE OPERATOR COMPLAINTS
No cable operator representative was in attendance at the meeting. A brief discussion occurred
regarding Time Warner possibly encoding programs too close to the identification tag causing
some of the violation issues with proper time length of identification. No action was taken.
REVIEW AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING MEDIA DELIVERY LOGS
All was well with the media logs
PAUG UPDATES
Channel 10: Mr. Gordy briefly provided the new schedule with updates and noted several new
shows.
Channel 18: Mr. Nesmith turned in the Channel 18 revised schedule and maintain all was going
well with the shows.

None.
ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING
Ms. Moon moved that the meeting be adjourned. Commission agreed and the meeting adjourned
at 1:21 p.m.
